In The Wake Of Hurricane Harvey, Houston Office Takes Time To Honor Those Who Served

JW Michaels

In the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey, Houston has seen the best in Humanity come together to rebuild our city and our lives. We at JW Michaels wanted to do something to continue that momentum and most specifically help the homeless veterans in our area. Alongside our managing partner, Jason Wachtel, the Houston office coordinated a special meal to show our appreciation. We made our way to the DeGeorge at Union Station hotel, a property converted into a shelter for homeless veterans, and served food and drinks to the residents of the facility. We met WWII veterans, disabled vets, and so many others that truly touched our lives in a very special way. We are forever grateful to these men and women for their sacrifice and for their service, and we are honored that they shared a meal with us and told us stories that will last a lifetime.
